In 2024 70% of our students left West Exe achieving a grade 4 or better in BOTH English and Mathematics.

Summer 2024 results

At West Exe we are hugely proud of each of our students and their achievements. 

• 70% of our students achieved a grade 4 in both English and Maths. 
• 54% of our students achieved a grade 5 in both English and Maths.
• 28.5% of student entries achieved a grade 7 or above across the school.
• 24 students achieved a grade 9 in English literature . 

With a Progress 8 score of +0.42, West Exe is an "above average" secondary school. 

I achieved better results in my GCSEs than I expected, and I am now studying A levels and want to go on to university. West Exe has inspired me to want to become a secondary school teacher so I can help young people achieve their goals.
