The Parents’ Group is open to all parent/carers and meets regularly to receive updates on new developments and to discuss issues of concern.  The school has found this group to be an invaluable sounding board.

The parent group is a steering group for the school where we consult and listen to the views of parents. We also use this platform to keep parents informed on various topics and provide the reason and research behind policies and decisions made.  You are welcome to join us for all five sessions of the year or for as many as you can attend.

The agenda for the first meeting is below:

  • Behind the Ofsted report and our journey from ‘Good to Great’ (Mrs Julie Fossey, Headteacher)
  • Celebration of our best results yet and what this means  (Dr Suzanne Lienert, Senior Deputy Head, Quality of Education)
  • Bromcom for parents (MCAS, My Child at School) – the impact of this exciting new system and what it can do for parents.  (Harry Chambers  and Dr Suzanne Lienert)
  • General Feedback (Chloe Fox)

You don’t need to attend all the meetings to be part of the group and we aim to keep the meeting time within the allocated hour.
