At West Exe we have a bustling student library and are pleased to announce that we are looking to support this further by advertising a library assistant post, full or part-time for the right candidate. You will work with our school librarian to further literacy across the school, undergoing the key responsibilities below to help strengthen a growing reading culture.

A vital part of this role would be to work alongside our high-performing English Department by supporting the delivery of Accelerated Reader and library lessons. Therefore, this role would not only suit those looking to primarily work in a library setting, but also those who may be interested in teaching as a career.
